THE MISSION

Sharing Christ.
Building lasting fellowship.

From 15 to 18 October 2026, Salvation To All Nations (STAN) partnered with Blessed Lands International Gospel Center (BLIG Center) for a four-day missions outreach in Kpalung, Northern Ghana. The purpose was to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, build relationships with the community and establish a church that would support continued evangelism and discipleship.

Prayer, ministry training, house-to-house visits, Christian film screenings and community activities formed part of the outreach. The mission concluded with a church planting service and a foundation for ongoing Christian fellowship in Kpalung.

ON THE GROUND

Four days.
Many ways to connect.

From early-morning prayer to evening Gospel meetings, the team combined proclamation with personal relationships.

01 / OUTREACH

A community welcome

The first group of ten team members arrived safely in Kpalung. Pastor Emmanuel of Blessed Lands International Gospel Center received the team, introduced them to the community and helped them become familiar with the mission field. Country Director Theophilus and Evangelist Emmanuel helped lead the outreach.

The team paid a courtesy visit to the Assembly Member, Honourable Sadique, who joined the local pastor and Country Director in welcoming them. These early engagements helped the team establish relationships with local leaders and begin the work with community support.

02 / OUTREACH

Grounded in prayer

Prayer remained central throughout the mission. On the second day, the team began an extended prayer session at about 4:00 a.m. and continued until morning, praying for Kpalung and committing the day’s activities to God. Morning devotions provided further opportunities for fellowship and spiritual encouragement.

Evangelist Emmanuel and Evangelist Dela trained the team in ministry in challenging communities, community entry, different forms of evangelism and practical approaches to one-on-one Gospel conversations. Director Theophilus also led a ministry teaching session on the third day. Together, these sessions strengthened the team’s preparation for effective outreach.

03 / OUTREACH

The Gospel in homes and on screen

Team members visited homes, spoke with residents, ministered to families and invited people to the evening Jesus Film Show. The visits created space for personal conversations about Jesus Christ. Some individuals responded to the Gospel and gave their lives to Him.

On the second day, the team screened a Jesus film in the local Dagbani language. A head count recorded approximately 350 people at the gathering. Evangelist Emmanuel followed the screening with a brief Gospel message and an invitation to respond. Some attendees made decisions to follow Christ.

The third day’s evangelistic meeting included a screening of Walking with Jesus, followed by another Gospel message from Evangelist Emmanuel. These gatherings offered further opportunities for the community to hear and respond to the message of Christ.

04 / OUTREACH

Friendship beyond the meeting

On the third day, the mission team organised a friendly football match with members of the community. The match ended in a 1–1 draw. The team also donated a football and packs of drinks to the local football team.

The activity encouraged friendship and goodwill. The report records that a majority of the local footballers attended Sunday’s church service. These relationships demonstrated the value of personal engagement alongside direct evangelism and opened opportunities for continued contact with the community.

SUNDAY · 18 OCTOBER 2026

The final day.
A new beginning.

One new church. A foundation for continued Christian ministry.

Sunday, 18 October 2026, marked both the final day of the outreach and the beginning of a new church in Kpalung. An estimated 150 people attended the church planting service.

Planted through the partnership between STAN and BLIG Center, the church provides a starting point for continued worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship and spiritual growth. After the service, the team distributed clothing items and drinks to attendees as an expression of care and appreciation.

The establishment of the church was a central outcome of the mission. Nurturing the congregation and supporting its continued growth are the next priorities.

COMMUNITY RELATIONSHIPS

A welcome.
An invitation to return.

Following the church planting service, the team visited the Chief of Kpalung to thank him for the community’s hospitality and support. They presented him with an audio Bible in Dagbani.

The Chief expressed appreciation for the visit and the effort to share the Gospel. He encouraged the team to consider making the mission a weekly activity and said he would listen to the audio Bible. His response provided encouragement for maintaining relationships with community leaders and exploring regular outreach.

THE WORK CONTINUES

Six priorities.
One continuing commitment.

These are the report’s recommended follow-up actions. They are priorities for the work ahead, rather than activities reported as already completed.

01

Establish regular church meetings

Agree on a consistent schedule for worship, prayer, teaching and fellowship.

02

Provide pastoral support

Work with local church leadership to guide the congregation and support spiritual growth.

03

Follow up with new believers

Identify and engage those who responded to the Gospel, offer guidance in the Christian faith and encourage participation in the new church.

04

Continue community evangelism

Plan regular house visits and outreach activities to reach residents and invite them into fellowship.

05

Maintain relationships with local leaders

Continue engagement with the Chief, Assembly Member and other community stakeholders.

06

WITH SINCERE APPRECIATION

The outreach has ended.
The work continues.

STAN thanks Blessed Lands International Gospel Center for partnering in the mission, and the Chief of Kpalung, Honourable Sadique, Pastor Emmanuel and the community for their welcome and support.

We appreciate every member of the missions team for their commitment, sacrifice and service. We also thank our partners, donors, supporters and intercessors who contributed through prayer, finances, time and other resources. Above all, we give thanks to God for His help and the opportunity to serve the people of Kpalung.

STAN looks forward to continuing its partnership with BLIG Center to support the congregation through follow-up, discipleship, pastoral care and regular evangelism, and to reach more people in Kpalung with the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
